Okay, so apparently I was blind. Now I see, “crenellations” of the retaining wall are part of a theme.

I connect them to the stripes in the yet to be added Trice stripe structure. I would love to see a view straight on from the Iowa State Center parking lot once that arrives. It does look good in person.

Bollards for Pollard?

I could be wrong, but they may be a little small for that purpose.

I noticed they kept the old concrete bollards that used to sit across the front of the Olsen Building. I wonder what they are going to do with those?

I hope they get rid of them. Those things are ugly. Or at the very least just bring them out as a temporary measure to block a driveway.

Unfortunately, the most recent rendering of the plaza doesn't show the statue as part of the plan anymore.

Do we know if any of the construction crew guys (or gals) are aware of the large audience watching them work and dissecting everything their doing?

Someone said that they want to see how traffic flows in/out of the stadium before the plaza is fully finished.
There's already a donor that's signed on to do it, they just want to ensure it's done right.

Probably want to keep the entertainment district in mind as well.

My guess is put them back so no one drives up to the stadium entrance.

Like I said earlier JP knows as I pointed it out to him. Now, whether he has relayed that to the workers is anyone's guess.

There's a level pad on the east ramp next to Jacobson.

I know there is now, but the last rendering i saw, im not certain that the bus will be there any longer, I thnk the new entrances almost are driectly next to the front of the Jacobson

Bus or semi? You're talking about two different things.

Back when I worked construction, if we were told there was a camera and a huge audience watching, we would have made sure we put on a show a few times.

Probably use those to form a walkway for a certain visiting team's marching band....
