That where some people think it will.Isn't that where the visiting team semi will back up to park along the east of the Jake in reference to loading?
They’re pouring in two different spots already this morning, out of sight of the zoom. I saw the two cement trucks pull in. One out by the street, to the west a bit, the other right in front of the Jake.

Could it be a lip out to the street? For those of you at work or who want to check your webcams, here’s the state of the morning pours. Looks like they’re trying to get the middle walkway ready.
Does that corner pour look acted shallow to anyone else? Maybe it’s just my eyes.

My impression by how the men acted when they were pouring was that they were short on concrete. And every company pickup truck that drives by (presumably foremen or supervisors) stops on the spot. Most of them get out to see what’s going on.Could it be a lip out to the street?
How do they get there from the street??No, there is a loading pad and parking space on the new NE ramp inside the gate.
I wrote Jaimie 6 months back about the interest this thread has garnered. Adding it is an opportunity for a potential unobtrusive advertising profit center. Throw in a daily construction update, the names of subcontractors (if they so desire to have their name listed), and an occassional "HyVee provided lunches" type of thing and this can become something the AD can capitalize on. He responded that he really liked the idea, but imagine his team is hard at work on more pressing matters. What did the cement drivers have for breakfast? Did you get there names? What kind of shoes are they wearing?
Sorry, but your obsession with this thread is as bad as what @Nate STANley has with ISR recruiting threads. You even brought your obsession up in a prior post. I assume you don't live in Ames. My biking route I have takes my by there just about every day. Seeing it in person is a way different perspective than off a web came. Just having fun with your posts. It is really cool to see in person though. Plus having a few friends in the athletic department, gets you a closer look at things to.
I think you are seeing the shadow of excess concrete on the edge (see 1 below). The guy marked 2 below is removing the excess (time stamp on video is 07:48:27).For those of you at work or who want to check your webcams, here’s the state of the morning pours. I noticed they kept the old concrete bollards that used to sit across the front of the Olsen Building. I wonder what they are going to do with those?
Same here.... I'm such a rube.I have dual screens at my workstation. One of them is dedicated to the construction cam. Need mah fix.
