JTS Improvements - Want More

Yesterday, I took this picture to show the build-out being done under the walkway In front of The Jacobson; zoom in for a better view. The supports will be hidden, everything will be connected and not look added onto, and they are getting a lot of inexpensive space which otherwise would not have been utilized.
Up there for one of the Ankeny graduations?

Zoomed in on the forms for the NW (Jack) walkway, starting to put down rebar.

I hadn’t realized they had built up a fairly large ridge of extra soil at the top. Bulldozers are busily pushing that into the depression around the tunnel extension.

Not much happening now where they zoomed earlier. Well, unless you count the guys working on the new wall of the Jake. I think I’d rather watch them finish the hillside.

Looks like a concrete pumper truck just pulled up for the east side. It accidentally pulled partially into the zoomed screen while I was watching.

Does anyone know if they plan to irrigate the hillsides? I captured this screenshot of a tractor making what looks like shallow trenches.

Here I underlined 3 of them:

I don't think they are for drainage because they're not deep enough and they don't run down the slope.
I forgot to reply last week but there were 3 T&T Sprinkler Service trucks there when I drove by that day. You were right about irrigation being installed.

9AM, and I thought I’d find them busily filling in the remainder of the hillside. Nope. They must be waiting for more base soil to be delivered.

Instead, I see concrete trucks passing one another, heading towards the east side. And loading up a truck with what I assume to be broken concrete.

In other words, tidying before the weekend visitors. Is it Wednesday already?

Looks like flag poles and railings going up on the new walkway. Things are moving along nicely, lots of dry weather means lots of progress. I'm looking forward to seeing how the new Pollard Plaza is going to look when finished.

Jamie could fix this issue by selling beer at the stadium. But you can’t use the same goobers that normally man the concession stands. Staff the beer stands with people who know how to serve beer quickly.
Those "goobers" are non-profit organizations(typically youth sport programs) doing fundraising by serving at games. It is always interesting the ways you find to be a jerk about most topics.

I caught this yesterday.

Construction guys laying pipe. Who knew?

I imagine that's electrical conduit maybe? Maybe I'm off on the size and it's drainage or something. There won't be much grass to irrigate in the plaza will there? I also see the light pole pedestals/footings that the pipe is running next to in that picture as well.

As I remember from the renderings, two large squares of the plaza will be grass.

I have no idea what that (apparent) PVC is for.
