Correct me if I'm mistaken, but I'm pretty sure Jon Miller is a graduate of Southern Illinois... never heard him support his Salukis in public though. Show some school pride, Jon!!

A few of eastern Iowa's dimmest have to go to commuter schools in Illinois to balance out all of Illinois' dimmest that go to Iowa.

Let's not leave Jimmy B out of this. He was ranting and raving yesterday that he was done with ISU football because their defense is so terrible but was perfectly fine with Iowa's horrible defense. For a guy that likes to sing his own praises for being so damn smart when it comes to sports the guy missed that one by a mile.

He seems to be missing the point that ISU's D is mediocre just like Iowa's. The difference in results is simply based on conferences. A mediocre D in the B1G could get you a conference title this year. A mediocre D in the Big XII this year and you will be lucky to win a single conference game.

Just another typical hatchet job by a local media member who has no freaking clue what he is talking about.
