Joe Heskett suffered a stroke early Thursday morning. He is in ICU and stable, but has swelling that is being closely monitored. At this time there are no other developments. He has overcome great odds before, no doubt he will fight like a wrestler does.

Update on Joe Heskett: He will be moved into surgery today to relieve the swelling in his brain. Will try to keep updates coming as they become available. Keep him and his family in your prayers.

Heskett has always been one of my favorite Cyclone wrestlers. Super nice guy in person. Wishing him the best, he's been through a lot in his life.

Wow. Just pile on why don’t you. This SUCKS! Hope like hell Joe pulls through this well. One of the all-time greats here at ISU, for sure, but an amazingly talented individual waaaaaay beyond wrestling.
