The uncertainty was already baked in, IMHO. Vegas couldn't wait till Friday to release a line. If you're asking if it'd be around 7 (3.5 now) with him, I think it'd be between 6 and 7, yeah

A tight whistle and 29 FTs for Tenn would be very detrimental.

In the tournament they’re averaging 13 per game (10 against UVA, 16 against Miami-Ohio). Neither of those teams is very good at forcing turnovers.

That's what scares me though. If the refs have a quick whistle it could be that kind of game. FTs are our worst team metric. Rebounding fouls, fouls called instead of steals, fouls on double teams, etc. That's the easiest way I can see us losing to Tennessee. We are not going to win a free throw contest.

After listening to TJs comments, I think it’s 100% that Jefferson suits up for the game. How much he plays will depend on the game and how mobile he is out there.

Best case we get Gillespie in foul trouble. Worst case they get Pleta and Buchanan in foul trouble.

Iowa State will win 6 out of 10, or 7 out of 10 games, depending upon various circumstances.

they might have extra focus on taking care of the ball with this one. Unlike Kentucky, Tennessee has a good true point guard. They also have taller guys to throw over our trap. . During the season, no teams really get a whole week to work on us, Tennessee will have a lot more time to work on our trapping defense than other teams we have seen. I hope I a wrong, but I don't think our defense is going to win the day, we will need to score with them.

I just keep thinking they've lost 11 times. Play our game and hope the refs stay out of it. Fingers crossed.
