Now we have the grey area. Do "contributions" to a parent's church count as pay? I still would not boo Cam Newton.
His shitbag coach on the other hand.....

No. In fact it seemed more like "hoping" than "assuming"Am I the only one disturbed by the fact that everyone just ASSUMED this guy used a racial slur

Again, I'd like to remind you that an ISU player flipped off the fans of an opposing team earlier this year and several ISU fans were investigated for sending death threats to an opposing player last year in the same game where an ISU booster was one security guard away from physically assaulting an opposing coach. Pump the brakes on going nuts on the behavior of other fans. People do dumb things in every sports arena in this country.
This. Assuming that a wealthy white man from Texas is a racist is just like assuming a poor black man from Chicago is a criminal. It's wrong and it's profiling. Just because people of certain race or region have a higher probability of taking part in a certain act does not mean that everyone does it. Give people the benefit of the doubt.Am I the only one disturbed by the fact that everyone just ASSUMED this guy used a racial slur
Ejim this year, Booker last year. It happens.
I think his integrity is questioned. The evidence backs exactly what orr said happened. He pulled a flop on a racial allegation and fooled me for one. Perhaps his biggest flop yet. I feel bad quasi-defending him.Oh please, because somebody flops to try to help win a basketball game his integrity is questionable? We've never had players flop or try to get away with something illegal that the refs don't catch to try to win a game? And a reporter on ESPN just reported that he was told by somebody from t-tech that a racial slur was used, but was quick to add that he didn't know what was actually said anymore than anybody else. You don't know that a racial slur wasn't used any more than somebody else thinking that it was, both have been reported. And it's good Orr has also issued a public apology, so time for people to move on. Somehow I doubt some fans will let Smart forget this though, even though he's rightly apologized for something he didn't start.
TIme for a "piece of crap" chant when in Hilton.
Also noticed that Smart apologized to Orr for shoving him, but no apology to Orr for lying about him...After Orr's statement and TTU's video proof just released, I actually think Smart's lie of racism is worse then the shove. Sickening!

Wow, I don't know. If calling him a "piece of crap" warrants him to go shove someone, calling him a "flopper" might warrant him to give someone in the student section a nasty charlie-horse.Prior to this incident, I was thinking a modified "Left-Right" chant....just chant "Flop" for every step he takes...all game long (actual basketball action aside). Imagine the petulant little effer dealing with that.
