Jayden Nunn Decommits

I’d rather have TJ contacting players he wants than players he doesn’t want

Lol at the idea that a multi-million dollar coach who manages a locker room full of hormonal teenage egos is too scared to call a kid because he might slip up and say something wrong.

You're too dug in on this. Use your head.
It is what it is. I'm saying there are two sides to a story. As I've said multiple times, he probably should have called him. Everyone is assuming Otz is wrong cus they've heard one side.

Here’s the thing though. Part of the job is to try and make sure that kids don’t get pissed snd bash you needlessly.

It’s ok to admit that this isn't a great look.
We don't know the whole story, and even if it's "confirmed" that Iowa State reached out, it's not a good look to people outside the program.

Is it a great look? No.
Do we know another coach didn’t contact him? No.

Its also ok to admit we don’t know the whole story and might be missing some key details.

Yeah, that is what bothers me. It’s our most fertile recruiting grounds where we now have an upset player. Not a place you want that.

Bad look to not reach out, even if you didn’t want to offer the kid a scholarship. Just tell him, ISU needs some time to reevaluate. Now Nunn made the decision himself. Hope this wasn’t intentional by TJ.

It’s been, what, 5 days? How long should it take to contact about a dozen players and commits?

Thus the un-winnable argument. By Nunn saying he was 100% committed and saying he hasn’t been contacted by the new head coach...what is the comeback to that at this point?
