Why some of you even listen to that, I'll never understand. I seriously can't remember the last time I tuned into KXNO. It's been many, many months and may be close to a year.

These guys love trolling many of you - and it works. Their content sucks so the only way they can get listeners is to **** people off. Some just walk away and others just listen more so they can call in and "give it to 'em".

Yeah, you showed them alright...

I usually don't but the ONLY reason I tune in is to hear some talk about local sports topics. Most of the time I just laugh at their stupid opinions though. I don't even know which is which.

For the recent EA sports/NCAA topic, one of them kept saying likeliness when he meant likeness. Big difference there dumb ***.

There's no identity crisis. Every teams colors vary. I'm a Yankees fan and you see a bunch of shades of blue at Yankees games. It's really not a big deal. Look at the Rams, they went from yellow to gold pretty seamlessly. Look at Notre Dame, you see all types of shades of blue and gold/yellow on their merch.

The Yankees fan apparel may have different shades of Navy, but it's nothing like the bright red we used with Mac and now the cardinal color we currently use. Your Yankees and Notre Dame examples aren't similar to Iowa State's situation.

I actually listen because I enjoy the stupidity by both. Seriously, I enjoy it. It never makes me angry or anything like that. Travis says something remarkably stupid every show. Tim just thinks he's the smartest in the room. What other show can I listen to in the morning for any local angle?

Our colors are cardinal and gold and have been since any of us were born. The post I responded to described an identity crisis amongst the fan base. There isn't one. In the same way one sees bright red and yellow (not cardinal & gold) ISU stuff they see blue and yellow (not navy & gold) ND stuff. The comparison is correct.

Agreed. I flip over occasionally just to see if they are talking about something local. If they are talking to someone from the Iowa Speedway or about something national, I go back to Mike and Mike.

There are identity issues though. I still see people wearing old color schemes along with logos we no longer use (not talking about vintage logos). Our branding/colors/identity doesn't compare at all to Notre Dame.
At this point it would be a bad idea to change our color scheme/uniforms/logos again...even if it just changing the gold. If we win a national title like the Rams won the Super Bowl or when the Rockets won their second NBA title, by all means, change the uniforms.

Awesome promo and awesome uniform. I think I might like the 3 stripes better and I think that's what they had in the Trice era, but I'm not going to complain about those uni's. I like the old gold and would like to see that in our regular uni's to get away from the Iowa yellow.

I can't do Mike and Mike. Especially in the summer.
