No clue, but I'm not in Central Iowa right now. If I were you I'd give "New Again" a few plays before you judge it. I like the songs the more that I hear them, especially Catholic Knees. But then again, I like most of the music they put out.
No. I'll listen to some song previews on iTunes. Unlike everyone else, I'm playing at home with a new puppy, watching Fuse, and listening to Music with the windows open, enjoying a nice breeze and not doing a damn thing.
EDIT: I've definitely heard The '59 Sound before. They're almost a little too Springsteeny for me.

Dude, I handed out 3-4 beers and gave away half of the free ISU memorabilia that I had. I managed to get passed about 5 people before I reached the point of no return.
I think being a golfer since I was about 6 or 7 makes days like this that much harder to take. I want to be outside.

Any Hold Steady fans here? More straight up rock than some of the band mentioned here, but its all loud classic guitar riffs meets Boss-esque stories about the down and out. Once in awhile they bring in some sax, and it totally sounds like late 70's Springsteen with more distortion and grittier production.
