Amazing what people complain about.

My only option to watch is to listen to a Texas homer broadcast, which sucks when you have a subscription to CY TV and cant watch because you dont live in Iowa. Also, for those out of state and might have to leave the house, you'll be lucky if you find a bar that has the game on a TV, and it will be a miracle if that bar has the audio turned on for ISU/Texas.

You're right. They should alienate the fans that still care any possible way they can. I can tell by the $6 tickets on tickpick for the Texas Tech game that people are truly invested.

We still watch them every week, but this is the time that you should doing things to make fans happy and excited, not the opposite. Giveaways, discounts, free views on cyclones.tv, etc.

And if you are streaming the game via some bootleg website from Eastern Europe lets hope you are intelligent enough to also be using linux, Firefox, and uBlock Origin to protect your computer.

Or AdBlocker Plus instead of UBlock. Windows is also possible with Firefox, but use an anti-virus and make sure your Firefox is set to aggressively defeat Flash-born enemies. Make sure to clear all passwords and histories before you visit the site. If you have made purchases from that computer, consider other options.

So I have directv and I just called them to see what it costs to get the LHN and they gave me the sports pack for free for 3 months.

Yeah...I hate to admit this, but apparently I have been paying for LHN since it's inception. Never realized until I checked last night.

Makes me vomit in my mouth, but I will be able to watch this game on my TV without connecting my computer.

I live in Iowa but am about 50/50 on whether or not they will block the content because of my satellite IP. Trying to block by IP address sucks. It's difficult and prone to so many errors.

Yeah, I keep trying to get different IP's on my router to get one from Iowa. All the mediacom blocks I in my area are geo located to Minneapolis.

Just broke down and called DirecTV and got 3 free months of the SportsPack. I guess if anything Ill take solace in the fact im not financially contributing to the LHN in any way.

Yeah, I don't think this is going to work. When I log into WatchESPN with my PSVue account the game has a padlock on it that says 'Premium content from Longhorn network'.

I may stand corrected. When I launched 'Longhorn Gameday' from the WatchESPN app, it prompted me to log in again with my provider. Had to go to the computer and 're-credential' the app, but now I am getting the Longhorn broadcast. Hopefully it will last!
