I'm sure it's a combination between George's facial hair and J.R's mask, but GC looked about 5 years older when he stood next to J.R.

Also, I can't help but wonder on what Larry Eustachy's opinion on yoga for basketball players is.

Good to see the guys having some fun.
I’m not gonna lie, I saw J.R. And thought he was a player.

I did notice he locker was still there. But they are probably waiting for the roster to be finalized.
To be fair, it looks like everyone’s locker is still there. I saw Bolton’s, JCL’s, Steyer’s, etc

One thing about Twitter I find interesting, the coaches would follow potential transfer targets all the time last year. This staff doesn’t seem to do that at all this year to give those clues.

Or hopefully this staff doesn't "like" offensive actions posted on twitter.

That’s what burners are for!

I can’t remember which coach posted the screenshot of the Hoiberg staff’s group text that was them sending game clock time stamps of different NBA actions. It was fun to see how the sausage is made and/or stolen.

I swear there was talk about doing yoga when Prohm started.

They've been doing yoga since Hoiberg and pretty sure Prohm kept it up. They put videos out back then because I remember seeing Georges and those guys doing it.

I won’t pretend any of this behavior or activity is unique to the new coaching staff, but the important aspect I see of their new social media presence is rebuilding the connection of the fan base to the team. That aspect has been sorely missing since Naz’s last year (Haliburton on an individual basis being the sole exception).

On the court results are tbd, but with a semblance of a personal connection to the new staff and new players, we as a fan base *should* in theory be more positively invested and patient in those results from the jump off.

IF THE YOGA CLASS WAS BEING TAUGHT BY A COUPLE OF YOUNG WOMEN ...well no...then I think Larry E would be all in on the class....

I AGREE the fanbase needs to be INVESTED & PATIENT from now until TJ gets us our NEXT CHAMPIONSHIP!!

I honestly didn't think there was anything wrong with it. He seen a play or action he liked. No big deal.
Agreed. Why is it weird/bad for a coach to be interested in sets that are being run elsewhere? I would hope whoever our coaches are in any sport are always trying to learn more and better their knowledge of the game.

Exactly my thought as well.

My issue with Prohm liking all these sets or BLOB plays on twitter was we never saw them translated to the players at Iowa state university. How many breakdowns, hero ball, forced shots did we suffer through last few years? In any career it’s totally fine learning new strategies, but then implement them to your job.
