But Williams said he would be our first first rounder in decades.

He could be, if he returns, adds more weight, and gets more experience as an every down player. Or at least a second rounder. Better than. Where he’s projected now after his first season not just being a pass rushing specialist, and being somewhat injury plagued this year.

Agree...that would be enough for me to stop being a Cyclone Football fan, I think.

Living in the Twin Cities and having to watch/ listen to Fleck...it would kill me to see him run our program. He's an arrogant, pretentious d-bag who is more about himself than his players. (His approach reminds me of Brian Kelly, honestly)
I'm pretty confident, as long as Pollard is AD, you won't see Fleck coaching here.

Fleck is a good recruiter and a terrible coach.

McDonald is a sack machine which the NFL loves. Is TJ Watt good against the run? McDoanld will have a long NFL career and be gone in the first couple rounds.

Is there actual rumblings that McDonald will be back? Or is this just the assumption.

Being a junior wouldn't him leaving be rumbling rather than staying? Not trying to be smart just don't think he'd say anything until he got pro day feedback.

Why so people assume Mcdonald is gone? Last mock draft i saw had him going in the late rounds if at all. Anyway, happy with this one for depth!
FWIW, Kiper does have him the 5th/6th rush LB. I wouldn’t assume he doesn’t have much stock. I think he just hasn’t been scouted much yet. Seeing more mid round projections for him.

Maybe he stays to try and max his stock? But being a mid round pick isn’t a bad opportunity.

Being projected as a mid-rounder isn't a guarantee of getting pickup either. Just look at Hakeem, he left early and isn't on a team. I have no idea what he is doing besides tweeting lol.
