CyHawk week is upon us.

Only thing that worries me is if we can’t stop their run game. If Iowa has to throw the ball, that’s a good thing for us. I like that we’ve faced two teams that also like to run the ball heading into this.
Moulton went out and isn’t coming back in so maybe he won’t be available

what if Kirk is playing chess to CMC’s checkers? Like, he’s telling Gronk to play poorly so all we worry about is defending the run game. And then next week he turns him loose and the Gronk for Heisman campaign begins?

Too bad the [insert backup name here] Heisman campaign has already started in Iowa City. If only Kirk would have put him in.

Kirk is up to something, trust nothing. Vanderzee out, Moulton out. Trust no one for the next 7 days.

After that piss pounding, I'd say next week is the real trap game. Iowa will be a solid underdog going into a big rivalry game that will be enormously hyped.

That said, I really love our chances next week. It's too early to know for sure, but Gronowski's first half performance (4/10 for 21 yards) makes him look like a typical overpaid/overhyped Iowa QB. Iowa is looking very one dimensional. Force Gronowski to beat us over the top and I really really like our chances.

Even if Iowa's defense is salty as usual, we have enough weapons offensively that we should be able to put more points on the board than our defense will give up.
