This is fair. Some never do quite find their groove/niche. I try to give breweries a few chances before I decide they're not for me.
Agreed and I had a similar experience with Barn Town and now they're one of my favorites.

Recently I've been enjoying a lot of beers from Blackstack, Modist, and Weldwerks. I haven't had a bad one yet.

I saw Weldwerks Advanced Fluid Dynamics in my local beer store yesterday. I had the 2020 edition last year and really enjoyed, so I recommend. Also have enjoyed the new availability of the above locally, esp Blackstack. Astroworld is a favorite. Another brewery that has a lot more choices I've seen is Equilibrium.

Back locally, I see that Big Grove Big Ed is back on shelves and it's outstanding.

I made the mistake of buying some Blackstack that wasn't refrigerated and it was ruined. I won't be doing that again.

Is Weldwerks all around the metro? I haven't seen any, but I haven't looked very hard in the last month or so.

and here I thought this was going to be a thread about how Iowa had a new team competing in the BASEketball league called the Iowa Beers.

I bought majestic beast, beer at work and oktobot 3000 from Lion's Bridge yesterday. They're all really good, majestic beast is probably my favorite.

mmm, wonder if I have any Oktobot left from last year, lions bridge's barreling program might be the best in the state for beers that you can actually find on the shelves.

Last year’s MB wasn’t very good but this year they tweaked the recipe a bit and it’s much better. Waiting for Octobot to hit shelves in DM area. The Gazprom was really good.

The majestic beast and beer at work complement each other really well. MB is a hazy juice bomb and the beer at work is a nice crisp drinker. Have you had the Oktobot from this year yet? I like how the marzen let's the barrel shine.

Not yet but I’ve had previous years of octobot and really liked it. Also liked their west coast IPA-It Came From the Clear Dimension.

Thanks for the rec on Majestic Beast. I'll have to try that one!

Personally, I'm generally off Singlespeed as I'm nearly always disappointed in their IPAs. So many other choices that do them far better, and that's mostly what I drink. Conversely, I almost always enjoy a Confluence IPA. Beerenberg does sound good, however. I will try it if I find that one on tap.

I was able to get a glass of Term Oil Fluffernutter this week at the Brass Tap in CF. omg that was amazing. Probably the first stout I have had in months. I guess it's getting on to be the season for stouts!
