Inappropriate Job Posting

Sounds like you nailed it then.

With great pleasure,

I was just asked to offer my input on a new job posting/description that's being developed at work.

Does this raise any red flags for anybody else?

Physical Activities: Sitting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, reaching, kneeling, repetitive motions.

That language is common in job descriptions, I've seen it at every employer I've worked for public and private sector.

I forwarded it back with the section highlighted and a bunch of question marks. We'll see if anyone else thinks this is an issue. Also, it's for an intern position at a government office...

Well in that case the description sounds spot on.

Just another night at the computer for me. Especially the repetitive motions.

How do you show these abilities during the interview process? A team interview would be out of the question.

Unless the interview was on a "train".

I apologize for my distasteful takes on the OP. Sadly I'm wired wrong and it's the first place I go.

I'm KILLING it though.

That was a terribly phrased set of requirements. Hope you got it fixed before it was sent out.
