Gotta be a rough Saturday morning after you get rolled by the Spoofhounds.

He is committed as a DT, but I would love if the staff could use him as a situational back. Bring him on for short yardage and gadget plays on occasion. Even better if they let the guy sling it.

Our fans' obsession with dreaming up these scenarios is so odd. We recruit RBs and QBs that can do that. We don't need the staff to find ways for him to play offense.

275 playing QB, cant wait to see that guy in the goal line situation....wow

How does a 140lb. DB tackle big Howard!?? Answer: They (plural) usually don't!
Holy cannonball Batman!

I like on one of the clips a DB made a picture-perfect tackle on his legs! That was after Howard ran thru 10 other people!

Howard Brown and J.R. Singleton..... remember these names.... they will be anchoring the interior of our DL for years to come. Both are studs.

Does anyone know if Singleton has seen any action this year yet?

Not really on any participation reports yet.

Certain players you have to wonder about that preseason conditioning time lost to COVID thing that CMC mentioned before OU.

Howard "The Refrigerator" Brown?
Let’s not insult Howard’s athleticism.

Wow, who remembers the Fridge from the Chicago Bears. LOL
Oh, yea... William "Rrefrigerator" Perry with that 300# body. There was one play where he carried "Sweetness" (The legendary Gale Sayers) over the goal line. might not have been a legal play but sure was funny

turning a starting QB into an all conference linebacker didn't exactly crush our creative spirit

The mention of Singleton has wondering if they're approaching the limiting/saving of freshmen players to the 4 games as in the past.

The season could fall apart at any time.

Uh, what?

I think part of the issue is that, as CMC mentioned prior to OU, by Louisiana game week half the team was only in their second week of conditioning due to COVID.

For example, O’Rien Vance was just rounding into shape vs Tech.

I think we’ll continue to see more young players as the season progresses.
