How do our facilities compare to others?

Lol. Oh no.... the hawks fans are upset. Lol

Love it when people get upset about facts. It is a tin shed. Fact.

As opposed to ours is... what? a cement rectangle with an arching tin roof?

I'm also curious, what makes you think I am a hawk fan?

At this point worrying about who has the better facilities is really a moot point. We need to show kids there is a reason to come here and play. Fred did it in basketball, if Rhoads doesn't see improvement, then there will be some one new. I'm here for the long haul. People freak out too much on here.

It doesn't take much to bring them out of the woodwork. Facts bother them. Like isu being the biggest university in the state.

fact. Iowa's is a tin shed. It's a little bigger based sq ft but with a low ceiling and tin shed it's not very high quality.

No table is needed. Iowa's facility is better by a large margin after the upgrade. FACT!

So ISU facilities are inferior? Do you think that has an effect on recruiting?

Not really would be my guess. Facilities are still very good. I think recent struggles and uncertainty with CPR future will play a bigger role in a rough recruiting year.

Total posts 39.....

Their indoor facility is a tin shed. Next.

Hmm. I guess living where one can hear the SEZ construction from our bedroom window, raising kids in the shadow of JT, gets to walk to Fb and bb games, and an Iowan for 46 years makes me unable to be objective... Because I don't post that much. Ok.

The Iowa facility speaks for itself. That's all this is about. Ease up

Not sure if it is the facilities or not, but Iowa has 12 commits, some of which we had offered and we are still waiting on our first commit.

you're saying that because of a ******* ceiling, ISU's facility is better than Iowa's. good lord, do a little research before spouting off, you're a ******* idiot, and make all rational ISU fans look bad.

Oh little hawk fan.. it's okay. The other hawk is trying to backtrack too.

Yes. Any football player knows that balls hitting rafters of a tin shed instead of traveling cleanly through the air of a much better facility is a big deal. You see they actually kick footballs in the isu facility.

I get this goes right over your head.

It's okay little brother. One day iowa may have some good things too.

Seems like half of Iowa's facility is given to hallways with tributes to try to help them feel good about themselves and forget they are in Iowa City!

Take solace that they cry themselves to sleep on piles of their bowl swag.

Not a hawk fan but they have succeeded where we have historically and traditionally failed.

So we should feel better about our 5 wins over 2 years because a building?

There are more than a few "size queens" on here who equate quantity of posts with quality of poster.

My god some of you need a psychiatrist.
The topic is facilities. And please don't get me started on beating iowa and them beating absolutely nobody worth a darn all year like that should impress.

Back to facilities. Their indoor facility is a tin shed with rafters. It's probably worth half of what isu's is.

I get some of u enjoy running down everything isu even when it is clearly better than other schools. Just don't expect me to do it.

So we should feel better about our 5 wins over 2 years because a building?

After reading this thread, the only possible explanation for D UP is that he is either Jamie or CPR. ISU has the best of everything apparently and no need to want better facilities!
