Tonight was the best of the season so far. This and VEEP are heads and shoulders above any other comedy out there in my mind. The Stephen Hawking line about Gary on VEEP tonight had me in tears.
I don't get the Veep thing. It's a fine show but it must just not have been my deal.

Love SV, never could get into Veep.
Last season of Veep and the start of this season have been great...if you haven't watched in awhile, give it a shot. To me, SV and Veep are pretty similar styles of comedy...both are kind of the dry humor that I love.
Last season's Congressional hearing episode of Veep was awesome...the names they came up with for Jonah were on par to the porn names in the porn convention episode of SV...hilarious.
The show needs a little energy...the Dinesh/Gilfoyle banter is getting overplayed, and TJ Miller is great, but this show needs something else. It needs something more than Russ Hanneman.

I'd say you just don't get it. Move on brother.
Yet another show I'm late to the party on. I was feeding my daughter a bottle as GoT was ending and didn't have the opportunity to change the channel, so I watched Silicon Valley - and got hooked.
While a lot of the tech stuff goes over my head, I can appreciate a lot of what happens in this series being employed by the government. As my dad said, "bureaucracy is bureaucracy, whether in the private sector or public." So true. Same can be said for incompetence.
For some stupid reason I think Monica ends up filling in that empty CEO chair by the end of the season, but that's just me.

I think the same thing and then her and Richard will obviously get together at some point.
almost happened at the end of the 1st season.I think the same thing and then her and Richard will obviously get together at some point.
I work in the tech industry and some of the stuff they say either goes over my head or is made up. Still funny ****. I though Monica was going to be named CEO right then. At least temporarily.
