We just cancelled Showtime since most of the series we watched are ending/ended and switched to HBO Max. What are your recommendations?

We’ve watched Chernobyl and Woodstock 99. I’m working my way through the Sopranos again. That’s about it so far.

The simultaneous theatrical releases have been good, though they only stay for three weeks. Watchmen and Lovecraft County were good. South Park and Rick and Morty are there too.

Mare of Easttown.

I'm in the process of rewatching GOT. It's so much better without the long breaks between seasons.

I'm in the minority, but I couldn't rewatch the Sopranos. I just didn't enjoy like the first time. Maybe I'll give it another try.

Hate to admit it, but I have started the Sopranos twice and couldn't keep going. I just don't see it and I usually like those types of shows.

I enjoyed True Detective...season 1 is awesome, season 2 is okay, and I am nearing the end of season 3 currently...so far it has been enjoyable.

lots of great shows on HBO. For new ones, the White Lotus was good. It just finished up, just a 6 episode many series. I’d also recommend The Night Of for a a single season show, and True Detective. Mare if Easttown was real good too.

Nothing beats Sopranos of course. And obviously Game of Thrones too was another great one.

Definitely Game of Thrones. Had forgotten about True Detective. Have they made any more seasons of that? I think we've seen two.
