Not at the top if you're trying to win a title. Let the bottom teams be decent and the top teams be very good instead of unbeatable.

That depends on the goal. If it's to win as many games as possible, you're right. If it's to become a better team that's more prepared for the postseason, that's not necessarily so.

This league has three potential top 15 teams in Texas, Kansas, and yours truly, Iowa State. Oklahoma State and Baylor won't suck, Tech is finally going to be somewhat relevant. The only teams that will suck in the league next year are WVU, KSU, and TCU. And the former two won't suck THAT much.
