I live Downtown, saw some of the fireworks to the west and listened to the staccato sound of them for most of the evening. Of course, my allergies are kicking up this morning! Sky is blue, sun in out, and all looks well though.

How much of this is due to the Sahara dust storm that has settled over the Midwest the last several days? Cars have light coats of sand on them also. Is that ‘Mercian pollution?
