I'm a Merc fan, but please lord baby jebus let kimi take out george and let Hamilton return to a victory. Amen
I mean you were close. Hamilton with the win and Kimi blew his engine
Wonder if Kimi was going to get penalties for going off track to many times. McLaren based the whole strategy of Norris on that
What a qualifying round. Verstappen crashes out and Russell may or may not have pole over the Ferrari’s. Be interesting to see if they give it to him. Looks good in my opinion but we don’t have all the data
Yep they are getting that car dialed in and that really could make Kimi feel the pressure. I love when he starts the season out slow but every person in the garage is concerned that he is coming
The drivers championship is Kimi's to lose at this point but if anybody can make him sweat it's Max. I think he can at least make things interesting.
BTW if that race was 3-5 laps longer I am guessing the end would have had
Kimi in first
Max in Second
George in third.
Or George would have won after Max crashed Kimi out of the race. haha
That's why they should have run the same strategy as George. Both of them had the straight up pace to beat him but they decided to go for tire offset and went too many laps without going in. Everyone was trying their best to lose. George shouldn't have won that race.
At least it wasn't Hamilton's strategy. I was genuinely dumbfounded when they put him on softs mid race and guaranteed him a 3 stop. Even more dumbfounded the announcers weren't calling out Ferrari for doing so. I was trying to figure out what I was missing.

Medium: 12 Laps
Hard: 13 Laps
Soft: 17 Laps
Hard: 29 Laps
