It is time for people to quit shooting the messenger. The people that provide inside information are not the source of your frustration, so why do you take it out on them?

I'm sorry for that...I'll try to change who I am.![]()
Let's not make this thread about individual posters. This thread is about Hamilton's transfer schools.
I personally don't know how anyone can defend him anymore, I could see if he actually won games. What do I have to gain by defending them?

You just don't leave Iowa for Virginia or LSU when you are homesick for Utah.
Just to try to get back on track of the subject - before throwing Hamilton or the coaches under the bus, remember that when Hamilton would have been being recruited in 2008, Tony Bennett was the coach at Washington St., Trent Johnson was at Stanford and Montgomery was in Stanford's athletic dept and then took the Cal job in the spring of 2008 - all jobs closer to his home. This may be as simple as these coaches had previously expressed some interest to Justin, his coach or his family based on the improvements he had made during his senior season and in AAU. When he re-opened his recruitment, these coaches with the contacts already in place have seen that Hamilton has progressed into a player that can play in major conference and initiated the contacts that way. Typically when someone is making a change or is "homesick", they also want the safety net of familiarity. If he, his coaches, or his family, felt good connections to these coaches back in 08 but these schools didn't offer because he was considered a "project", I can't fault him or them for connecting now. Not everything is a conspiracy.

How about the concept that if we didn't have these guys quitting and transferring and turning pro we might be winning more games?Oh shut up! Ever think maybe some people get sick of losing all the time?Ham a lottery pick? Yea.
Cal comes to Ames next year do they not?
He may as well just average 18 and 12 next year.
In all fairness to Cimd, he did later clafify that to mean a 505/50 shot at Ham coming backThis is what you said:
You said there is a distinct possibility of Hamilton coming back.
From distinct - Dictionary definition and pronunciation - Yahoo! Education...
Here are some definitions for distinct:
Please notice #4. From the above blog, it would appear the possibility of Hamilton playing for ISU next near is certainly not "distinct". On the level of "distinctness", I would put it on par with the possibility of me, at 44 years of age, coming back and playing for ISU...
In any case, if his issues are dealt with, ISU could certainly use him back on the team...
It will be hard when he has to sit out...
