I give us a fighting chance at A&M. Not so much with Mizzou at home. If we go 3 minutes without scoring and defending they'll run off 15 points. Gotta tighten up the 'D' to take care of shooting lulls. RW should be able to do some damage against them down low but he won't be able to play PG against them so easily.
I don't care how bad Texas is in relation to their past teams, I just care we are better than them right now. Great start to Conference Season and lots to build on. They still have a lot of talent on the floor and we looked to be right with them athletically. We have not been able to say that in a long long time.
The depth we have is going to make a huge difference as the year goes on. In more wide open games Tyrus, Booker, and Gibson will make contributions.

this team definitely has issues and everything is a struggle but slow style of the game due to a foul on every possession didn't due us any favors.
there still seemed to be a lack of effort and hustle tonight. my father put it best when he said that the team is like a pro team shoots lots of threes and looks lazy in all other aspects.
