Good article from Hines

Maybe it is just me, but I wouldn't call years of .378, .314 and .330 as putrid shooting. The .314 is nothing to write home about but we would take a guy alongside Haliburton shooting .378 or even .330 on this team in a heartbeat. .378 yields the same number of points as shooting .567 from 2.

And you're cherry picking as well. His .378 season came when his usage rate was much lower.

Freshman year: 31-82 (.378)
Sophomore year: 55-175 (.314)
Junior year: 66-200 (.330)

.314 and .330% with high usage IS putrid shooting in high level college ball and I'm scratching my head as to why anybody would think otherwise.

Yes, and then he immediately takes a shot at Prohm after Hines writes a tremendous article giving us fans great information on Prohm's mindset, preparation, coaching in practice, etc.

How am I taking shots at him? First of all any article that starts off by using adjectives like "formidable" about Hilton is a complete fluff piece to begin with. Second of all i asked a simple question, if he's riding them hard in practice, why arent they held accountable during games?

As comical as the same 4 guys who are offended by every post I make? The only reason the 4 of you cant stand me is because you are triggered I used to post on the ISR board.
Offended =/= you being dumb.

Your comment about Hilton not being formidable is connected to Prohm being the head coach. The question you had was snarky, in the fact that you're still upset about the Iowa game and how the team came out and played.

All Im trying to figure out is Prohm seems to be teaching and holding players accountable in practice, why doesnt that translate to games? Players either arent doing what they have been coached, or they have absolutely no consequences for terrible basketball, we saw that alot last year with a couple players who refused to buy into team basketball.

Wash, rinse, and repeat. You can just admit you hate CSP who cares.

for·mi·da·ble
  1. inspiring fear or respect through being impressively large, powerful, intense, or capable.
    "a formidable opponent"
You can imply what you want but "formidable" isnt the first word that comes to mind when they are .500 at home in the Big 12 the last 2 years, including multiple beatdowns in front of our own crowd.

And all of Shayok's UVA shooting came at a much lower usage rate.

How is a post that lists his entire career's shooting cherry picking? I realize it doesn't fit your narrative but he has demonstrated that he can shoot better than he has this year.

And just so I am clear, everyone who is outside the NCAA top 100 in 3 point shooting this year is putrid? Got it. So the vast majority of NCAA teams have no three point shooter who is any better than putrid.

If you guys would stop being so triggered Im actually giving him alot of props for running a well coached practice, I just dont get why guys can do stupid stuff during the games and nothing happens to them.

NWB had a potential huge 6 point swing mistake last year at the K-State game but yet hes right back out there to start the 2nd half.

Actually if anything at times it feels like he pulls players too quickly at instead of giving them a shot to get a real feel for the game.

Some more than others but that kind of stuff can also be dictated by how that players operates.

If we take a poll here on who always seems to be triggered, you or others, the outcome won't look great for you.
TBH, a lot of people wonder why you haven't been banned yet.

Can you name a time when Fred pulled a player or didn't start them in the 2nd half due to a mistake at the end of the first?

Actually, do you see ANY coaches do this?

I haven't got a PM, I must be doing it wrong.

Maybe stop shooting threes then? That was my whole point. Stop shooting if you suck, which Nixon does
