Friday the 13th - Only once this year

Hopefully got my Friday the 13th bad luck out of my system. Went to take the garbage out to the trash bin this morning around 4:45 then wheel it to the curb before going the the gym. It was still dark out and I opened the lid, threw the bag in and heard the clunking noise.....FML.. Not only did I throw the garbage bag in but also the laynard with my car and house keys with my gym pass. As fate would have it, they went all the way to the bottom of the trash bin. Had to dig by phone out and turn the flashlight on to see where they were, then tip the bin over so I could reach all the way down and get them. Thankfully they were unscathed but the smell in the trash bin, I was literally gagging.

After my wife's spinal surgery, she got one of these medieval looking contraptions to help apply pressure to pressure points


During the night it must have fallen from it's normal resting point as it was sitting on the floor barely peeking out from under the bed.

My foot hooked it around 0230 as I went to the bathroom and I went down in a blaze of pain and glory

I almost had a Final Destination morning

I just dumped a drink into the passenger seat of my car because the lid was ******

I turned 13 on Friday the 13th, so I've always thought of 13 as my lucky number.

After work, we're heading to watch the KC Monarchs.

At this point, I fully expect one or two screaming foul balls to find my seat.

I didn’t pay attention to the date, but I’m having a great day. I power-washed the T8 and put it away, marking the completion of spring work. I’m enjoying a nice lunch and plan to check on our project with the contractor this afternoon. The concrete work was finished, and they left yesterday, right before the surprise rain came. The building is set to start going up on Monday. I hope I didn’t jinx the afternoon! LOL.

I hope things turn around for those who are having a bad day so far.
