Friday OT Thread: Well, I never...

RIBS, you're missing the greatest 'bad' movie of all-time. Finally found the $5 DVD in the Walmart bin after seeing it on cable 30 times

No! I will never watch it! EVER!!!

psssst: I don't think he likes Patrick Swayze...

You're a smart lady. Although I could handle him in Red Dawn and The Outsiders. He wasn't as big of a d-bag in those 2.

I'm 38. Have never... - Had a sip of coffee (just saw this one posted) - Seen any Star Wars or Star Trek movies - Had a hole in one The last one just isn't fair. I've played waaaaayyyyyy too much golf for it not to have happened, at least by accident. And it pi***s me off.
I used to play a ton of golf and got pretty good for a while. Hit a shot to an uphill par 3 where you can't see the surface of the green. Looked great & heard it clang against the pin. I thought for sure I had one but it didn't go down. Still haunts me... friggin' golf. Now I just mountain bike because a) it takes less time, b) because it's exercise that doesn't make me want to club some jerk ahead of me with a bat and C) doesn't cost me $25-$60 every time I go out. Problem solved.

Some of you people have never even tried coffee? Whoa...
Smells like it would taste like dirt, tree bark and battery acid. No thanks, not a big hot beverage person. I run warm as it is. I will settle for letting coffee be what allows my wife to function as civil member of society.

ya, indeed. I

love coffee, but have you ever had someone in your grill with that god-awful skanky cigarette and coffee breath?

It about kills ya

Coffee taste like dirt, battery acid and tree bark? Hard to argue that. But the coffee aisle at the grocery store smells like heaven to me. Smells great....I drink it because of my poor sleeping habits and my employer continues to frown on sleeping at the desk.

Never gotten a speeding ticket

I get one every ten years, starting with the year I graduated from high school. June 1973, June 1983, ~4pm 31 Dec 1993 (thought I was going to escape that year!), October 2003. New Year's Eve 2012 I told everyone I was going to go out on I35 and see how fast Elmer could go...just to get it over with! Common sense prevailed, and March was when I got the ticket.

I have no idea why it has been so spaced out...makes my hubby crazy!

Along with the never gotten a ticket, I've never been pulled over.

And regarding the states you have been in, do fly over or drive throughs (only stopping at Rest Stops) count? What about landing in an airport?

PS coffee is amazing.

Never gotten a speeding ticket

I was well into my 40's before I got my first one. (Oh, I deserved plenty, just lucky to be in the right place when there were no cops around.) Then I got another one about 9 months later. No more though. My cocker spaniel got me out of one - was a female cop and she ended up really enamored with my dog - got the warning.

Wouldn't work with my current dog. She literally is fine in every situation until someone (friend or stranger) approaches the car. Instant defensive/attack mode. What's bad is she's 8 pounds of cute fluff so people don't heed her growls. She nipped the realtor in FL before I could warn her or pull the dog back. Don't want her to bite the cop - probably shoot us both.
