Take your kids out on the course with you. When my boy was 5 or 6, I bought him a Snoopy driver and a putter and let him hit off the tees and then putt, and he loved going out.Love to golf - but never have the time to anymore with 2 kids - couple that with trying to organize a group of people to go and find a tee time that works for everyone and I can honestly say I don't know if I'll even go this year.
I'd say what I do to decompress is just walk around the yard and look at the plants we've planted. It's weird, and I know the neighbors give me weird looks when I walk around and look at my plants while having a beer, but honestly I don't care. It works for me.
I love finding something to do in the garage while the royals are playing. Listening to Denny Mathews while working outside is very relaxing to me.Listening to Pat Hughes call a Cubs game.
Usually the most relaxing on the boat but also love it when I'm doing chores. I'll time out some things just for that reason.
I think the 4-1/2 year old is getting close to being able to go. I'll hold off awhile with the 7 month old.Take your kids out on the course with you. When my boy was 5 or 6, I bought him a Snoopy driver and a putter and let him hit off the tees and then putt, and he loved going out.
