Fire Mouser

It is. But if the QB can’t hit wide open receivers consistently, it’s on the coaching staff to not call 40 pass plays in a game where you are rushing for 7 ypc.
Or, if you are going to persist with the high pass attempt offense, try somebody else at QB who might be better able to hit wide open receivers if the current guy is not getting it done.

Was Mouser OC last year when the team won 11?

His skill level was sufficient for a team with two NFL-caliber WRs and a good defense. QB was also playing better last year. Or at least it looked like the QB was playing better last year...maybe the 2 NFL-caliber WRs were bailing him out more than was thought.

This year, his scheme also worked well against an average FCS team earlier in the year to which ISU was physically superior. But is seems for the typical P4 game, more advanced scheming and decision making is needed to compensate for the talent drop and less-good defense. Mouser may not have the experience to pull that off. If that is the case, the HC has put him in a position that he is not equipped for.

The offense is just really bad. We've already had six single-digit scoring halves, and 3 straight weeks with 3, 3, and 7 points in the second half. Every game it’s the same story, either we come out completely unprepared in the first half or we stall out after halftime like the past 3 weeks. Mouser’s offenses look decent between the 20s, we can move the ball, cross midfield, and then do absolutely nothing. Playcalling gets predictable and we can't execute and end up settling for field goals. Something has to change, because what we've been doing just isn't working.

Turns out you need good players to win, someone write that down.

I’m not a fire this guy type guy but isn’t it Campbells job, whose making like 4 million a year, to put us in the best position to win that he can? I mean how does a team like North Texas put up 35 or more every game? Should we be looking at other options outside the program and hiring the best guy we can get? I do believe so. Right now I think we just keep promoting from within instead of getting the best guy

Why didn’t we have a play ready to go after that fourth down conversion? The refs took forever to spot the ball and start the clock. We shouldn’t have wasted a down with a spike
I couldn't believe either, ASU callas a timeout and we knew we were going to run the same play they should have had two plays called so after the first down they could have lined up and ran the next play after the clock started. Really cost us after the pass play to end the game being a yard short we could have one more play left. Rocco looks completely broken for some reason and can not hit simple throws, not sure if he's injured or what but looks half the QB he was to start the year.

Yeah...team with most points wins the game, so it seems like scoring often should be a priority. Yet for some reason, ISU keeps throwing in inexperienced people to run a P4 offense.

Look at it this way though, other than Colorado have we been beaten by a team that wasn't better than we were anyway? I mean I do understand the frustration though
