The big 12 conference apparently publicly reprimanded iowa state and issued a $25,000 fine. Not for storming the field, but for not keeping players safe in the process. I have watched it many times and cannot see where they came to this conclusion.

Iowa State is appealing this decision.

It's really not that big of a fine but the appeal is on the principle and not giving into Holgerson. BTW LSU was fined $100,000 but they have a stricter policy.

What other fines have they levied. I trust that WVU will get similar fines if/when they storm the field/court.

Did CMC and Iowa State ever get clarification from the Big 12 on why targeting wasn't called on the shot to the head Purdy took in the OSU game? You know, the very text book example on what the penalty is supposed to prevent? If not, I could probably come up with 25,000 reasons why the Big 12 can go **** themselves.

I wonder how much the fine will be when they beat Texas and then Oklahoma in the Big 12 championship to ruin any chance of the conference being represented in the playoffs. Eat ****, Bowlsby. You too, Dana.
