Some of this depends on outcome of Ole Miss game, Bama v Michigan, Boise State, and SC-Illinois.

A lot will depend on how much committee and AP voters are willing to downvote the playoff teams that got dominated like SMU and IU.

I don’t see any possible way we get higher than 13. I could also see us only swapping places with Miami.

Could help our ranking if ASU performs well in their game(s).

We drop a couple spots. Cam didn’t play second half so it counts as a loss in the voters’ mind. It was a Miami win.

It depends on how the rest of the games turn out, ASU beating Texa$ would help, even an Iowa win helps. I just threw up in my mouth a little.

Probably good enough for top 15, but I wouldn't be surprised if ISU climbs only to #17.

SMU and Clemson had more than twice as many points in previous poll, I doubt they get "punished" much for losing in CFP. The vote total will be closer for final poll I'm sure.

As others said, Ole Miss probably has to lose to Duke. Even if SC loses to Illinois, that's "top 25 matchup" and wouldn't drop much (SC had 770 points, ISU 401 in previous poll).

If BYU had "won close" vs. CU, maybe we'd jump them, but that was a beatdown.

We’re currently ranked at 18. I would say top 15 for sure. Outside chance of top 10 with another win against a ranked team and 11 wins. I say we end at 11, half the teams ranked higher than us will lose as they play each other.

I read an amazing tweet which states that Matt Campbell already has the majority of Iowa State's all-time Big 12 conference wins, the majority of Iowa State's all-time AP poll appearances, and half of Iowa State's all-time bowl wins.

Let that sink in fellas.

Seven seasons with a winning record in conference. SEVEN. Doing it at all was extremely rare before he got here.

Already? He’s almost our longest tenured coach of the modern era “already”.

Must be all time conference winning seasons, or just looking at Big 12 maybe. All time ISU has 258 conference wins, MC has 45 of them.

I find it hard to believe that he has 50% of our conference wins. Even 1 a year for 100 years would be more.
