Seems like this is dare I say...being underhyped? 1/3 inch of ice just isn’t as bad as it used to be I guess.

Freezing rain from 12-6am.

Hits 33 degrees at 7 am when you have to go to work.

I figured it wouldn't hurt to be proactive and get some down tonight. I guess it's possible it might just wash away with the rain but it won't hurt to try and get out in front of it.

Wonder if the current thinking is it tracking further east. NWS forecast and WHO now have Ames getting .13-.15" of ice instead of .2-.3"
