This morning I was thinking about Caleb Grill going bonkers against #1 UNC a few years back. What are your favorite times a Cyclone just played lights out for a game, half or stretch?

Caleb Grill 31 points on 11-15 FG and 7-11 3PT

Obligatory Melvin Ejim 48 & 18 vs TCU to set the Big 12 scoring record

and my personal favorite: Deandre Kane 30/8/9/6 steals in a top-10 win against Baylor

LaFester easily gets my vote, but for us old-timers Barry Stevens game v (#5?) Mizzou was also a classic. Not sure of his stat line, but it included the game winning buzzer beater so that gets extra credit.

Sort of weird that I can't think of a single Jeff Grayer game in this category given how awesome he was. I'm sure there's at least one.

Fred scoring 41 against Colorado in 1995 (if memory serves, the stats portion of the scoreboard stopped working during the game so they announced Fred had scored 41 when he exited near the end) and Brackins 42 against Kansas also come to mind, outside of those already mentioned.

The Ejim game is the first one that came to my mind, he was unstoppable that day.

The game Fizer dropped 35 on Texas and the poster dunk over Mihm was the cherry on top of that game he dominated. Fizer's line was:
35 pts
13-25 shooting (2-2 on 3's)
8-9 FT
9 rebounds
5 assists
2 blocks
2 steals
2 turnovers

For one guy against one opponent, Lucca Staiger against Drake was wild. 8/11 from 3 his first year in Hilton (we somehow lost) and followed that up with 10/16 the following year in Des Moines. He averaged less than 10 PPG and averaged 28 per game against them.

I would also argue Lafester as well. I also liked the 1992 Oklahoma State game where they came to Hilton rated number two. Justice Thigpen was benched for disciplinary reasons and Johnny put him in the second half. He scored 22 points and 11 of those came in overtime to overcome an 18 point deficit at halftime to win the game.
