"Fans" booing our own team

What credentials do you have to warrant the right to be criticizing what is happening?

The $1500 Cyclone Club check I wrote this year, for starters. Then the tickets. Then the tailgate spot. Plus all previous years (donations, tickets, parking, etc...) that I have purchased, all the while hearing JP promise more and more. All the while we still can't beat a damn FCS team. Maybe me booing makes me sound like a Nebraska fan...I guess I don't care at this point in time.

If your going to suck and get blown out, at least chuck the damn ball as far as you can while doing it. It was over at 35-7 and everybody at that game knew it. So at least throw a hail mary or two and entertain us. JFC, when is basketball season?

I know you were booing the play called but the players only hear the boos.

What credentials do you have to warrant the right to be criticizing what is happening? Were you a former college player, coach, or what?

I'm guessing you are one of those that know everything about everything and you are never wrong.

And I find you to be very inconsiderate of those sitting around you. People are not leaving the game early, they are looking for seats away from you.

If one needs credentials to warrant the right to criticize with boos, then one also needs the credentials to warrant the right to cheer.

If you were there to cheer the movie on it would have performed better.

Recent history shows the movie will be awful even with historically packed and energetic audiences.

1:00 left in the first half is the first time I've booed ISU, ever (I was even sober)... I booed the coaches and the playcalls on that series because we might as well have waved the white flag at that point (maybe we were so as to avoid another 71-7 beatdown). Our offense isn't that anemic that we couldn't throw it down the field a few times. We had a chance for back to back possessions, and we settled on just having one.

Anyway, I booed... Guy next to me didn't really like it. I didn't like it, but I really didn't like how the coaches decided to end the half. Take a shot. What do you have to lose at that point?

I also clapped and cheered for the players as they went back to the locker room at the end of the half, and at the end of the game (I stayed, like I always do). Maybe I'm bipolar...

A Michael Bay Movie?

Actually in Iowa State's movie more like a horror film, Big Marketing Campaign, Low Budget, Just awful on screen.

Credentials can be over rated. I've seen more then 3000 football games easily. I think I know football. The boos for sitting on the ball with a full minute left and three time outs at mid field were all warranted. Im glad they got to hear the dis pleasure of the most loyal fan base in the US. It wasnt about winning or losing, it was about not playing.

Charlie Weis has credentials. How does that keep working for him?

My main issue was that we got the ball 1st after half, and had a minute. Score, get the ball and score and hello football game. Here we are.

I boo CPR. The guy is a cry baby, acting like a damn child. Is that what he is teaching his players? When things don't go the way you want, cry, throw hat and look like an idiot. IDIOT! The act is old, worry about coaching players.

Dont criticize the fans for voicing their displeasure. Are we supposed to be happy our coach didn't take a shot to the end zone with a couple seconds left against a top 10 team while down 28? Get off your high horse. These players know what was being booed.

How many fan bases would stick around after halftime of this game and get as loud as they did? Not many, I mean look at Kansas' crowd last week for homecoming, it was pathetic. If you don't think the players know we are always behind them you are living in a hole.

As far as you not liking to hear the booing while you are at your seats, you can always watch it at home on TV otherwise STFU and mind your damn business.

I boo all the time and can't stop...

But seriously, the play at the end of the first half ****** me off. I didn't boo, but hope someone asks CPR why the **** he did not attempt to score.

I booed ... the first PI call in the south EZ on Tribune, I think -- not sure. Like Baylor needed help. I got a few looks for that but holy crap.

I didn't boo the two running plays at the end of the 1st half because we were walking out. I don't feel the least bit guilty -- been a fan for 40 years, I can leave if I want.
