Fan base shift?

For all of us who are long term ISU fans, it has been obvious to us for years the difference between the two fan bases. One based on intelligence, generosity, etc. - Cyclonefanatics!

Well it appears this point was just proven invalid by every poster on this thread so far.

I think what he is trying to say is that Iowa State has a growing popularity and we are seeing more Iowa fans becoming Iowa State fans. Or he is trying to explain the circumstances that led to the Bolshevik Revolution in 1917. One of the two...

I heard Ross on the Morning Rush this morning talking about how difficult it is to get Iowa coaches and others affiliated with the Iowa program (the example he used was Bobby Hansen) compared to Iowa State.

This isn't anything based on the two fan-bases, this was just an observation he was making.

I stopped by Iowa City and asked Kirk if he thinks he's unapproachable:
th

I don't think he agrees.

:spinny:

I went to see a political speaker once in Iowa City, and he was protected by the FBI. Is the basketball program also under protection?

My question, does it appear to you that there has been a fairly rapid shift between the two bases? From left to right? On KXNO, I've heard more than one host say that the Cyclone coaching and administrative staff is far more "approachable". Granted, there are many HOKS I would not want in Clonedom as it would pollute the base. But for those who out of nativity spend some time as HOKS, it's fun to see them move over.

So is OP asking if more people have become Clonefans/ accepting of clone fans?

I honestly tried to follow where this thread was going and can't. I am so confused right now.

Your general question is fine ... Yes, there is a slow shift taking place given ISU is now the largest school in the state. Yes ... There is a shift to more ISU coverage but it has been a battle even here in central Iowa.

FYI just ignore all the mean punkster trolls ... They love to play "gotcha!"

I only read the first post in this thread, or at least attempted to read it. I will not read the other posts, although I am amazed it has made it to 3 pages.

In response to the first post.............
