People booed Lewis when he was winning, now they boo Max, it's silly but it's the way it is. If Checo wins 2 championships they'll boo him too.

I personally like all the drivers on the grid, not equally, but there's not one that I actually dislike.

I used to Dislike Fernando. He was such a prick. Somehow his comeback has made him actually become a fan favorite. He seems like a totally different person with no pressure.

I have an irrational dislike of Max's dad but I don't hate any of the drivers since Mazepin got shown the door when the war in Ukraine started.

Fernando is going through the same fun uncle phase that Seb did at the end of his career.
I think having that Honda GP2 engine behind him in the McLaren put him in his place a little bit especially now that he's in a car that can compete for podiums and if the stars like up right a win this year.

Max is Max, he is a Uber competitive, spoiled rich kid, with an awful father. None of it is really his fault, but limits how much I can enjoy him.

Pretty much everyone else is good for me now that Mazispin and Riccardo are off the grid. Sorry I grew tired of the over hype of Daniels talents. And his clearly egotistical need to have everyone thing he was this happy go lucky guy, when he clearly wasn’t that.

Max does have a very punchable catfish face.

This is the kind of thing that just annoys me so much, people trying to create something out of nothing. Save it for Netflix.

I think Max just ended up on the better strategy, starting on the hards, that Checo couldn't have done anyways. That and he drove a great race, he got through the pack ridiculously fast and clean.

Strategy doesn't matter when you are that much better. If Max had started P1 on mediums and Checo had started P9 on hards I would bet my house on Max to win.

I agree. It would be great if for the last race of the season they did a car swap. The top driver takes the worst car on the grid, so on and so on. Obviously this would never happen. Just be fun to see how it all shook out.

When it’s on at normal American time the numbers are going to keep going up. It’s those 6:00 Sunday morning start times that are killer for Americans

The early starts and shorter races are a plus for me. I can throw the race on before the kids are up or while I’m making breakfast and have the rest of the day to do whatever.

I’m an empty nester. I honestly don’t care what time they are on. Just saying for general viewership, the late start time helps with west coast and mountain time zones

~8am races are best IMO, get up nice and early, watch the race, drink some coffee, still have the whole day left.
That's where I got into it. I get up on a Sunday morning before anybody else and I drink my coffee and watch the race with a dog sitting in my lap.
