Gotta be Vegas:

If you mess with the contrast you can just barely make out that it says Vegas kind of in shape of the famous Vegas sign as well with the "welcome" on top. Plus I can see Caesars Palace and the Ferris Wheel on the left. Might be the Stratosphere there as well A2AEC7BF-CE51-48D2-BAD2-A1166F55365D.jpeg

As long as it’s not in a parking lot again.. strip would be great.
This is roughly the rumored route. "Tropicana to Wynn along the strip, around the MSG Sphere, down Paradise and back to Tropicana"

I did a rough outline on Google maps. I think they may add a turn or two in those vacant lots at the south end of that course but who knows

Sounds cool. Hopefully they add some more turns in that lower section.

I've seen that route posted a couple places. The major problem I've read with that is it crosses a railroad. That could really tear the cars up if they don't spend a lot of money cleaning up that crossing. Now when I look at a map I don't see where it crosses the tracks.

It does not cross a railroad. If it goes west you'll see a rail road near I-15.

I'm skeptical that either Vegas or Miami will be good for actual racing. We need another actual race track grand prix in the US but that's probably not as lucrative.

Ideally, I'd love to see them do Indy Road Course as that has so much history. Selfishly, I'd love to see Road America as it's close by and produces awesome races in Indycar. However, that will never happen because it's in the middle of nowhere Wisconsin and I believe not a FIA grade 1 track.

So they have to race that at night, right? That would be pretty sweet.

I'm terrified of having F1 in Las Vegas.

Has nothing to do with the race itself, the quality of the track, adding too many events in the U.S., or even the lost chance to bring back a more historic venue. No not those.

But has anyone ever stopped to think what it will be like to leave Daniel Ricciardo in Las Vegas for a full week?! Lord help us all LOL. Not sure we are ready to mix Vegas and Ricciardo together! It may be worth it's own Netflix series!

That track layout looks better than I was expecting. Visually this will look amazing on tv, way better than any other race except for maybe Monaco. I'm skeptical on if this will actually be a good race though. I might have to make my first trip to Vegas for this in a couple years though.

Ricciardo is a talker. I'd worry more about Verstappen running roughshod all over the place and Yuki Tsunoda getting buck wild everywhere. DR just seems like that guy who talks more about partying than he actually parties. It's really a good thing that Mazepin is gone. That dude seemed like a real menace.

I didn't even realize it's on Saturday, a night race on a Saturday is going to feel really weird.
