Nice work with collecting this list, thank you.

There are some names that I don’t recognize and others that would’ve thought they used all eligibility I.e. J Lang & Re Al. Covid year really messed up the simple equation of 5 yrs to play 4.

I’ll be interested to observe how Bouman performs.

Isheem Young had 5 total tackles for Ole Miss
I am assuming the way Isheem plays this is good. He gets pretty active in run game. Sometimes when a DB gets a lot of tackles it’s because their guy was open for the catch.

I thought Purchase played well Saturday but not sure he had any tackles because he denied the catch.

For Re-Al, it may have come down to an insistence to play qb.

It’s sad that he has to play quarterback. Kid could have been a he k of a defensive back or wide out. A few years ago we had another kid that did the same thing. Can’t remember his name but he ended up at Ohio University

Not sad IMO, just his preference. He’s not going to the NFL anyway. If he wants to play QB then good for him. True amateur sports.

Philip Bates during the McCarney years. Caught a big pass vs. Iowa as a freshman from Brett Meyer.

Did Bankston get many reps last year?
He was a big time Juco recruit IIRC. I usually don't get too excited about many recruits, but he was certainly on my list due to his position and potential.

IMO we don't really miss Bankston at all.... we're loaded at that position.

Bates saw significant time at QB after going to Ohio in year 1 (JR year). Then played sparingly at QB his senior season. Basically ended up as a WR at Ohio. I think he did make the Seahawks camp as a WR.
