Stranger things have happened after transfers. Like when a mediocre three star running back transfers from Wake Forest.

Kids tend to get their heads together. That seems to be the one thing Joe Scates needs.

I guess. He's definitely good in run support. Coverage not so much. If they are bringing him in to potentially start, that's not great for them. But, if they are low on bodies like we are at Safety right now, it's probably a decent idea.

I wonder how he would do playing more of a slot/nickel role. He's definitely not good as an outside corner.

Or a quarterback that Nebraska declined to recruit because he wasn’t as good as their guy so he transfers to LSU
