Everett Edwards... Faked the injury when he struggled to get off the field in the redzone. Got the injury timeout and that drive resulted in the Peavy pick. Saved us a 5 yard penalty.

He graduated from Duke in 3 years, not surprised with his quick thinking.
It's the stuff other teams (WVU at least three times last year) have successfully done to ISU in the past.
Teams have done it to us for years now, so I'm not going to care too much if we do it to them once in a while. Last year WV had guys going down to the ground with fake injuries on multiple instances when we were in fast tempo, only to come running back onto the field the very next play.
Props to the training staff also, they sold it well.
But does it matter? TCU substituted so the official was supposed to give him time to get off the field. The official should have stayed over the ball until he could leave the field. He left early which put ISU in the position of having 12 men.
When it comes to ISU and officiating, the line between "should" and "do" becomes quite blurred.

Um, he had plenty of time to get to the sidelines so not exactly buying it. If true I'm disgusted just as I was when WV repeatedly faked injury last year against us whenever the offense got on a roll.
