Ernst

Custer is better than Ernst, we should start a thread about how much of a mistake it was to push him out

Iowa State also let a dude go pro that's now averaging 2.3 ppg in the league!

*The league being the Greek A-1 league.

We should do an analytics site to track these powerful new stats.

Fouls of Aggression
Outbursts of intensity
Hulk Ups
Elevations of directness
Conclusions of spatial clearance
Effort utilization (we'll use the effortometer)
Flashes of brilliance
Heightened technical defensive arrays

All of it.

Is this for CF posters?

Fwiw, Ernst is the 8th rated Juco recruit in the nation. I'm not sure how much stock to put into this, because looking back at previous years, only about half of the top ten go on to do anything.

Just saw that. Probably looking for more playing time. Maybe now people will stop complaining about how we let the wrong guy go.

Sigh... this thread again.

Hope it works out for Brady but doubt I'll be in Ames.

X has a scholly available to go after Morrow now.

Could create an interesting domino effect. With the Kanter commitment to Xavier today that doesn't leave them a scholarship for Morrow and i wonder if Nebraska will give Ernst a call? They need bodies.

Don't think so. They graduate 5 seniors and Myles Davis left the team earlier this season.

They have 5 HS kids committed and then Kanter committed today. There's still the possibility Bluiett could go pro though.

I don't claim to be an expert on this guy - other to say I doubt he'll be looked at by Prohm and co - but when you decide to make a semi-formal announcement, don't use "wanna".

I wonder about the Nebraska thing, too. Maybe a Missouri Valley team would be a good match. Not sure how UNI is sitting for bigs.

Ernst should look at Drake. Good school and lots of playing time. Plus since he is not going pro he could get a great expensive education for free.

His value was this year when his competition was Holden. Best on luck to Brady.

Who wins a Jacobson vs Ernst 1 on 1? Besides Gunner, of course.

From Travis Hines on Twitter:

Normally I would laugh this off, but I know there were some who wished they would have been able to keep him in Ames.

If you had a choice between Jacobsen and Ernst, who would you take?

Pretty obviously Jacobsen on my end, but I suppose one could make the argument that Ernst has higher potential, simply because we haven't seen him play as much at a high level.

Just hypothetically, but is it true Jacobson has 3P shooting "potential"? If true, you'd think that would garner him some P5 offers. If they're both just muscle down low, I'm not sure it matters.
