D'Vario Montgomery

Everyone forget the rumor, or pay a dollar to the rumor fund your choice.

Never meant to cause an issue. I had a friend of mine tell me about the Rivals post and thought I would ask here. My apologies.

Absolutely huge get if true. Dude is listed as 6'5 now and had offers from basically every top program.

According to Twitter 3 USF WR's alone have transferred since the new head coach showed up last winter. I'm guessing there is a pretty solid reason the dude is leaving. Would be huge...

Sam Richardson was also his QB in high school. If there is indeed a 4 star transfer coming here, it his him for sure.

Now whether or not that thread is based on the fact that he is transferring away from USF or the fact that they actually know he is coming here, that is another thing entirely.

Would be a huge move though, and the scholarship is now open with DA Williams not qualifying.

USF receiver D'vario Montgomery leaving program | Tampa Bay Times

Story on his transfer

USF sophomore WR D'vario Montgomery, one of the Bulls' top recruits a year ago, told coach Willie Taggart Tuesday morning he was quitting the football team, leaving workouts in Vero Beach a week into fall practice.
"He said it's been bothering him for a while and he just feels like the best thing is for him is to leave," Taggart said by phone Tuesday. "He told me he's been battling with it since spring ball and thought he could keep pushing through. He came to a decision, talked to his mom. I asked him if he was sure and he said he was sure. I told him we want guys who want to be here."
Montgomery, a consensus four-star recruit from Winter Park High, had six catches for 65 yards as a freshman but had injuries in spring and this month. He was held out of drills this weekend with a tweaked hamstring.

Montgomery has a redshirt year available and will have three years of eligibility at a new school starting in 2014. Steven Moffett, an assistant at Winter Park, said Montgomery had been considering a transfer since January, after coachSkip Holtz was fired.

So he "quit" the team? Coach sounds butt hurt like Chizik calling Phillip Bates a quitter when he decided to leave ISU.

I heard there's been a "premium content" spill. Get the clean-up crew up in the bullpen. LOL

I read an article online to the Ames tribune the other day. I'd tell you guys what it said but ames tribune articles are paid content. As is everything in the register.

Also d'vario didn't come up in the isu directory. Hope that doesn't mean it's false premium conjecture. I'd hate it if the country club info was wrong. Shoulda gotten a second source from Twitter.

I always find it funny when Rivals thinks they have some kind of "premium" confidential info that nobody else knows about.

It's as if they still think we live in the 90's or something? Nothing is "confidential" anymore. There's this thing called the internet now. And on this internet, there are websites called Twitter and Facebook. And there are also articles for free on the internet from various newspapers, etc.

Anyone with half a brain, by using Twitter, Facebook, and articles published for free by newspapers like the Orlando Sentinel, etc can deduct that this D'Vario Montgomery might be coming to ISU. It isn't that hard.

That's why you make your website free, like CW does, and make your money through advertising, etc. It doesn't make sense anymore for fans to pay money to get info that's already readily available through other means. The only time it really makes sense is in the case of Cyclonestv.com where you can actually watch practice videos and game videos that otherwise are impossible to see without this subscription.

Why anyone pays for the premium stuff on Rivals is beyond me?
