Dumb and Dumber 2

When the Tonight Show unveiled the first trailer for the movie, I thought it looked like ****. I thought it looked like ****'s ****. As the commercials came out, I still wasn't overly excited about it, but at least it looked to have a few funny parts. I will probably wait until it comes out on DVD and rent it. Why spend $45-$50 going to a theatre to see a movie where I KNOW being disappointed is a possibility?

Well I spent $8.75 to see it so that might be your first problem

Whenever I go into the movie theater, I can't walk by the concessions without getting a jumbo popcorn. The smell alone just gives me goosebumps. Then you know you will want something to drink with that popcorn, and for me, water doesn't do the trick. I need a nice cold, crisp fountain pop. And I'm going to need a jumbo size of that. On top of that, if the theater I am going to sells alcohol I will need to buy at least 1-2 $8 beers to sip on throughout the movie.

Yes, going to the movies can cost less than $10/person. But, lets be real, I'm a sucker for buying overpriced snacks, drinks, and alcohol.

You guys are spending a lot of money on movies. I spent less that 30 bucks for me and my lady and that included tickets, a large drink and nachos. The theater I went to has a self serve nacho station, so I probably ingested about a pound of nacho cheese, yum!

As far as the movie... it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Had some funny moments and a few lines that will probably be quoted, but not half as good as the original. Anyone who thought it would be as good as the original just doesn't know a thing about movies. I'm a big 90's Jim Carrey fan, but he did seem like he was overacting and not letting it come natural in this one. Jeff Daniels did a pretty good job, though. I bought his character as being Harry Dunn 20 years later.

I kinda liked Dumb and Dumberer. The story was kinda weak, but the two guys playing younger versions of Harry and Lloyd did a great job. And Bob Saget yelling "my house is full of s***" was great!!

I don't know what ticket prices are where you go, but in Chicago $30 will pretty much get 2 people into the door with maybe 1 or 2 dollars left over, and that's before you buy any drinks or snacks.

I was terribly disappointed. The beginning of the movie felt like I was watching a high school play. If that makes sense. Corny and acting was bad. Not expecting oscar quality From Carey and Daniels but... Driving the misuse of words joke in the ground for the entire movie. I may have chucked once or twice

I don't know how one could have thought this would be a good movie.

Just go to WalMart or a gas station and get your snacks and drinks there. Put them inside your coat, and BOOM, money saved.

I'm going to let you in on a secret most coats have two pockets at the sides, that are exactly the right size to fit a beer in.

Taste in movies aside, who the hell spends 45-50 bucks at the movies? Is it so hard to spend 2 hours not eatting and drinking?
