Dreaming Time: North Endzone

One idea I had was to duplicate the South Endzone in the North Endzone, but keep a space for grass hillsides, to preserve that tradition.

I'd be just as happy if the grass hillsides became nothing more than a fond memory--like Clyde Williams Field.

Except that is not the way you write 8 on roman numerals (VIII is #8).

That's the joke. The Big 8 also never used Roman numerals in it's logo (correctly or otherwise)

Maybe so, but making things a little more cushy for the media doesnt generate us any revenue.

There's a big difference between "cushy" and "having enough room to do your job".

When all of the equipment is loaded in and set up, trying to navigate the TV/radio booths is roughly like this:

And given the amount of money the TV networks are paying, it's pretty embarrassing to sardine them into a space that was designed and built when 1 game per year was on TV, and HD was a pipe dream.
