Dominykas Pleta Commits

King is a good player for UND. He averages 12 and 6. He could absolutely be an 8th guy off the bench for us. I think Hamilton could start for us and slide Lipsey to PG. He’s going to get a bag from a P5 this summer.

Watson was good for us when needed. I was sorry to see him go, and I haven’t given up on Rock yet. Billiew seems like a disappointment, but he gets a lot of minutes for Wake. Indrusaitus does seem like a miss.

Just cause guys got recruited over or left after 1 year doesn’t make them a miss.
Omaha Billiew is a massive bust, he has largely been bad for wake forest considering there was talk of him being a lotto pick after freshman year when he was a high school recruit. Outside of a few games look at his stat lines not good

Wake seems to be trying to use Omaha as a 3-and-D guy.

He's had some good games but hasn't sustained any consistent productivity. Has had more than five rebounds in a game once, averaging 2.1 rebounds/game.

His problem was his high school ranking. If he was a 3 star prospect out of high school, then he would just be viewed as your typical college bball player. The fact he was a McDonalds All-American sets the narrative that he's a bust. Just a reminder that while recruiting rankings are fun and entertaining, they're not a science.

Nojus wouldn't be helping our free throw problem this year, shooting 56% woof.

35% on threes though.

Or Dr. Marc Urquhart....
Jamarion is, by all reports, a great kid.

But you might want to google his high school and recognize where he's coming from. He has a lot of catching up to do, by no fault of his own.

Pleta doesn't look 240 to me, but I'll take your word for it. Either way, he puts on some muscle he's going to be a deadly force.
He is deceptive. I don't remember him being overpowered by a stronger player and getting offensive rebounds takes strength to hold your position. His feet aren't very quick yet he does O.K. defending smaller players. When he stands next to other front-line players, you realize he really is as tall as listed. Agree that he looks like he can add even more weight to his frame. Great recruiting class!

I think he could use to add muscle but I'm not sure with how TJ uses bigs how much weight he really needs to gain.

Not sure why this is a big deal. Alot of kids gain 15 pounds when they first arrive in Ames.
I gained 35 pounds my first 2 years. Going from sports year round + lifting/PE 5 days a week to natty lights and some intramurals was a killer.

On Pleta I dont think he really needs to gain more weight he just needs to continue playing stronger like he has the past few weeks compared to the start of the season.
