Does yesterday's loss hurt Tate's...

how long till iowa fans start whining that 6-6 is good enough for a new year's day bowl and it must be a conspiracy that they're not being invited?

How long until Hawk fans say that they would have gone to a New Years Day bowl if Jake Christiansen was the starter?

I think they're already saying it on the Hawkeye message boards. (Insert rolling of eyes here.)

I can't wait to watch Sound-Off tonight.

Of Course Tate will make finalist for the Hiesman. Don't you remember the EIU troll that posted here about Tate being the same caliber QB as Brett Favre before their BCS championship season was started. I would love to call Jon Miller and rub his nose right into that 10-2 at worst prediction...

You know Iowa fans that expected that sort of season will come up with some excuse including "Ferentz's fault" "injuries" "difficult conference" and "we're in a low-tier bowl game, that always cut it in Ames"

Drew Tate is the best player in the country.....he could probably beat Troy Smith in arm wrestling and in Heisman....the way he blames himself shows confidence he needs to get to the big level....oh and I'm sure the Colts will fire Manning for him, why wouldn't they? He is freaking Drew Tate....almost as worthy as Chuck Norris......

-I wonder if anyone thinks I'm being serious

"I would love to call Jon Miller and rub his nose right into that 10-2 at worst prediction.."

No need to call. Boy, was I wrong.

Drew Tate may be a hothead but also can be a great qb...he will make it to the NFL unless he pulls a Brad Banks and doesnt get drafted.

I'm impressed you came in here and took your medicine. It wasn't exactly a banner year for college football in the state of Iowa.

At least UI gets the extra practice and a bowl (especially for the seniors). With the Big 10's bowl affiliations and UI's travel history, they don't even have to worry about the blue field of death or something similar.

Or getting snowed on while playing on the blue field of death in such a bowl game.
