I like my pork pulled and my butts rubbed but no rinse on my beef.I'll rinse the slimy red-dye goo off of my pork butts
Shredded beef is great but I'd rather have my hog pulled.I like my pork pulled and my butts rubbed but no rinse on my beef.

Wow. On one hand, when you can actually see “extras,” it’s a little off-putting. On the other hand, soggy cheese? I know I’m old, but it’s not THAT hard to grate your own. This falls right in line with the thing I heard about people rinsing pre shredded cheese to get the potato starch / cellulose off it.
Does anyone use “whole body deodorant”? Do you shove that stuff in your crack or what?
I had no idea when I started this thread that so many of you are so uncouth and dirty-minded.

Purposely provocative thread title, but I am generally curious...
I saw a social media post of someone cooking steaks on a flat top grill, and she opened up a package of steaks and put them right on the grill. The comments were filled with people outraged/disgusted that she didn't wash the steaks first.
I've never done this, but apparently people do? What are your thoughts?
