Do I Fire Our Nanny?

Can I ask where you found your nanny? Our in-home care provider is probably going to be quitting some time in the next few years, and I'd really like personalized attention for our daughter (she only needs care about 12 hrs/week). I thought about looking into some of the young child education students at the school, but was wondering if you had resources?

BTW - I don't think it's pretentious at all.

My wife kind of took the lead on it all, but I believe we found her on Nannysforhire.com. There was also a website through the U of I (we live in Iowa City) that was almost a craigslist of sorts for nanny's. It's worked out really well, I would definitely recommend it.

You have a nanny?

IF he can afford a nanny, the old boy's got a lot more money than I will ever have, btw the only nanny I ever met was a very good looking red head who had nannied in wash dc/ virginia area for a congressman.

And the red head told me it paid very well....

Who knows maybe the said nanny is a UNI FAN.

Maybe... just maybe ... the nanny doesNOT like Iowa State.

If anyone is interested I'd like to become a nanny, and I'm totally hot, I require 2 popsicles out of the freezer and I get to keep this old bird cage.

Her aunt (my sister), a UNI student, gave it to my daughter. It stayed in the closet, thought I'd throw it on her for a nice picture. Also, I generally don't have a problem with UNI, just seem to dislike them today for some reason.

Yeah, you know I never had a problem with UNI befroe either, even when we would lose to them. But, I'm starting to really dislike those pesky ****ers. I guess thats a compliment to them. You've officially arrived when people begin to hate you.
