This movie covers one night at the end of the 75-76 school year, which was my freshman year at Iowa State. It really brought back some memories. I actually did toss a bowling ball out of the car window at a mailbox but missed. Drank a lot and watched others partake in the hippie lettuce. Girls all wore those high waisted bell bottoms.

One of my son’s was getting the dreaded prom pictures with his date and I was chatting with her dad and we laughed about how I babysat him when he was 12 and I was 10. But no Betty White.

My sons range from early 20’s to early 30’s. About all they do that resembles message boards or social media is Instagram and Reddit. I guess what little I have looked at Reddit it seems message board like anyway?

There seems to be some imaginary wall where posters just disappear.

Like Logan's Run or something

I've always wondered if it's when their kids get busy in their own events and the parents lose time to follow ISU and CF as much. Or they get old and die. Beats me which it is.

To follow on. I think I joined in December 2010 just after I was accepted and confirmed coming to ISU. So I was 17 and now I’m turning 30 next month.

I’ve certainly slowed down posting after college but it is still my #2 most visited website after Reddit according to my browser tracking. And #3 isn’t even close to the amount of hours
